Earlier this week, I coordinated the geek dinner follow-up to LA Barcamp. I was pretty happy as 30 people RSVPed and I think everyone actually showed up and on time! Lots of familiar faces and about 30% women.

I had some interesting conversations about Tivo and contextual ads, some yummy Indian food and we ended the evening with a discussion about cultivating innovation in large companies. The full write up is here. And this is definately just the beginning.

And in other tech news, I'm speaking at Blogher. I'm on the day one schedule and will be doing a basics blog course along with Miss Zoot and Melinda Casino. It's going to be all basics, so if you don't know where to start - come to our session.

I'm looking forward to the day 2 sessions, especially the room of your own bofs.
